How it works
Our system implements interfaces for most of the industry-standard communication protocols, so it is easy to integrate many power systems components into a unified monitoring system. Assets aggregation allows for control algorithms to be deployed at scale and in a coordinated fashion. In the back-end, He works on state-of-the-art cloud-based platforms, using a service-oriented architecture that ensures loosely-coupled services can be deployed, scaled and adapted on demand, while ensuring efficient use of resources (cloud computing).

Digital Trading Platform capabilities
An on-site communications hardware (energy gateway) that allows for the integration of most of the distributed assets through the implementation of most employed industrial communication protocols:

The set of communication drivers include, as well, interfaces to communication standards employed by TSOs and DSOs (e.g. IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104)
Simplified asset models (digital twins) are included in the back-end to estimate the status of each asset, and recursively learn from their performance curves.
By embedding these, control algorithms and dispatching modes are optimized to govern each of the asset types smartly. The best strategy is chosen by comparing different optimization results that use state-of-the-art techniques (SVM, DP, MILP, NN).
Asset dispatching is optimized by taking into account both revenues (or savings) and amortization costs or usage costs. Hence, assets expected operative lifetime is maximized together with asset profitability.
In the electricity market, revenues are structured in layers: the futures market, the day-ahead market, the intraday market, or you can switch positions to go to deviations, or bid adjustment services. The decision you make in each layer, whether to buy or sell, affects the next layer.

Technical warranties are monitored by the platform to ensure that the operating and usage parameters are met at all times and lifetime of the assets is assured.
Logging and alarm-triggering services are highly customizable to ensure meeting customer needs and adaptability to different asset portfolio structures.
Accurate data collection combines time-series tables (InfluxDB), structured tables (PostgreSQL), as well as non-relational databases (such as RDF SPARQL or document-based non-SQL as MongoDB)
Artificial intelligence data analysis, processing and cleaning tools help improving data comprehensiveness, which is essential to guarantee information transparency and which contributes to enhanced asset productivity and efficiency.
Automated reporting services can be configured to allow for customers and plant controllers to keep track of the technical and economic performance of their assets periodically.
